Where are we?

Real Tour is in the town of Caño Negro, in the canton of Los Chiles in Alajuela province.

From La Fortuna and the Arenal Volcano: 3 ½ hours.

• - Take the road leading to Tanque, passing trough Muelle, then take the highway to Los Chiles.
• - You reach the Jobo intersection, where you will turn to Caño Negro
• - Turn left onto a dirt road for 19 km.
• - You will reach the village of Caño Negro. Our office is in front of the park.

From Daniel Oduber International Airport (Liberia): 3 hours.

From San José: 4 hours

• - Take the General Cañas highway to Ciudad Quesada (San Carlos).
• - In Ciudad Quesada take the road to Santa Clara, Florencia and Muelle.
• - From Muelle, the road will take you to the north side of the country (Los Chiles).
• - Go through Buenos Aires and Santa Rosa, until you reach the Jobo intersection, where you will turn to Caño Negro.
• - Start going through a dirt road for 19 Kilometers.
• - You will reach the village of Caño Negro. Our office is in front of the park.

From Río Celeste: 1 ½ hours

• - Take the road to Guatuso.
• - In Monterrey, take the road to Muelle. Go straight ahead to Los Chiles.
• - You reach the Jobo intersection, where you will turn to Caño Negro.
• - Start going through a dirt road for 19 Kilometers.
• - You will reach the village of Caño Negro. Our office is in front of the park.

From Río Celeste: 1 ½ hours (other way)

• - Take the road to Upala.
• - In Colonia Puntarenas turn right to Caño Negro.
• - Start going through a dirt road for 26 Kilometers.
